The meeting, which will take place as part of the 2011 edition of bizbarcelona in June, will bring together the 30 cities awarded the title 'City of Science and Innovation'.

Having been the only large Spanish city recognised as a 'City of Science and Innovation' in December 2010, a result of its commitment to research, the Ministry of Science and Innovation has announced that Barcelona is to host the first “Innpulso Network” Forum this June.

Bizbarcelona is a leading event for entrepreneurship, business growth, innovation and internationalisation, held in Barcelona. It brings together established economic and business activities such as the Day of the entrepreneur, HITBarcelona, Fòrum Tecnio and the Premi Emprenedor XXI (XXI Entrepreneur Prize). The last edition of bizbarcelona drew more than 12,000 professionals from 68 countries.
